This document describes ten differences users may notice in Holt Online Assessment since it was upgraded in September of 2006.
Changes you may notice in Holt Online Assessment since September 2006:
1. Single point access from the My Subscriptions hub page:
Look for the Assessment button in the right column.

2. New Navigation to main areas: Welcome, Assignments, Calendar, Reports, and Preferences:

3. On the Welcome page, first select a Class and Book, then click Submit.

4. Set your Preferences (such as time zone, test settings, calendar) before getting started:

5. Set your Calendar Preferences with school start/end dates, grading periods, and holidays:

6. Assignments: Select a category:
- Test and Quizzes: (default) All HRW products fall under this category except for Math.
- Course Interventions: Only MSM '07 and AGA '07 products have assignable resources for intervention.
- Offline Activity: teacher-created assignment/activity done offline where the teacher can enter a grade to be tracked in HOA reports.
- State Standard Based Intervention: Only Texas MSM '07 and AGA '07 have assignable content for state standard based intervention.
- Teacher Uploaded Test: an ExamView test that has been uploaded by the teacher and associated to a book. An ExamView test uploaded by the teacher must be associated to a book before it can be assigned.
- Unassociated Teacher Uploaded Test: ExamView tests that have been uploaded by a teacher but NOT associated to a book. A teacher must associate an ExamView test to a book in order for it to appear as assignable content under the Teacher Uploaded Tests category. Content can not be assigned from this category.

7. Assignments: View by assignable content or View by assignments made:
Look for the Assessment button in the right column.

8. Use the Calendar view to help manage assignments:
Look for the Assessment button in the right column.

9. New and improved Reports:
Select a report link and drill-down to Class, Student, or Assignment level reports, or use the Advanced Options to go directly to the report of your choice.

10. Report Drill-Down:
Drill down from a Class Progress Report to Class Test report or Student Progress report.
